OUR ACTIVITY:

In 2002 we got sub grant from fund NOVIB for the project 'Pure drinking water for health and sustainable development in Crimea'. Within the framework of this project water monitoring in four places of water network is held monthly in Feodosiya. As a result of analyses and research, on May, 26, 2004 we organized Ukrainian Public Workshops on the matter of water supply, therefore materials were published. In the second half of 2004 monitoring of river Baibuga is being realized and due to this we drew up the map of 32 drainages in river.

Project 'Clean Seashores' had begun in 1999. Its aim was to clean beaches before summer season and after it. Our organization took under patronage unique nature monument-Quiet Bay. Together with children organization we found and cleaned spring on the slopes of Yanishar Mountain. Also we planted 12 willow seedlings. In practice, this project was held without any financial support, only with a great help of our members. Nowadays this project turned into annual volunteer activity.

Project 'Pure water'-2001-2002-we made census of springs on the slopes of Tepe-Oba range in the outskirts.

We worked out a map of springs location, also springs Ochakovskii and Instrinskii were totally purified. In addition to this, leaflets for population were prepared. Project was realized only with a great help of members of organization and volunteers. Project called 'Heavy metals' was held in 2003 under request and funds of members of Crimean Republican Organization 'Ecologiya i Mir'. Eventually, we analyzed 300 soil samples on the territory of Feodosiya. This is why the map of heavy metal pollution on Feodosiya territory was passed to local authorities.
