BRIEF INFORMATION ON THE LATEST ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS:
These days the project called 'It is Great to be Healthy' is being implemented aimed at improving children's health in Evpatoriya. Of paramount value is to prevent illnesses concerning deficit of calcium and promotion of healthy lifestyle. As a matter of fact, our organization held seminar with respect to the ecotourism development in Evpatoriya, also we prepared lessons on environmental problem for pupils of secondary schools. We took part in public workshops (in Feodosiya) on the issue of drinking water supply and reconstruction of Lake Moinaki territory. In practice, drinking water in Evpatoriya regions was carefully analyzed in laboratories of Association 'Ecologiya i Mir'. Apart from this, two-way discussion with Poland was organized in order to talk on the matter of communal, social and poisonous waste management for local authorities, communal services and NGOs. Regularly, talks on environmental issues appear on the radio 'Kalamit' and in mass media.
Above all, the problem of the negative effect of the industrial complex 'Donuslav' construction in port was talked over with deputies in Evpatoriya Council and public of Evpatoriya region. Under these circumstances we prepared an appeal to the President of Ukraine.
