ACTIVITY IN 2004-2005:
Firstly, number of events were aimed at children and youth involvement into nature protection activities. In 2004 'Green Beauty' project was launched. About 140 seedlings of sudakskaya pine-tree, Italian pine-tree and 60 juniper bushes were planted at dendrozoo protected territory. As a matter of fact, more than 300 pupils of secondary schools in Alushta participated in planting. Within the framework of 'March of Parks' 3, 5 hectares of dendropark were cleaned. Generally, the problem of public environmental education was talked over. Besides, schoolchildren were instructed with a great help of the program 'Ecoleader'. Also, TV and radio are involved.
